INTRODUCTION

About

About

Victoria Warehouse Manchester

Victoria Warehouse Manchester

Built in 1925 as a cotton warehouse on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal in Old Trafford, Victoria Warehouse has been transformed into one of the North West’s largest event spaces, its Cotton Sheds covering 4,533 square metres and holding up to 3,500 guests across as many as eight separate areas. The venue has hosted brands including Mini, Jaguar Land Rover and Manchester United, drawn to its industrial scale and character.

A converted cotton warehouse at this scale calls for production built for genuine industrial volume. Lexa’s approach at Victoria Warehouse would work with the Cotton Sheds’ original structure and open floor, building sound, lighting and staging that suit conferences, product launches and gala dinners without losing the venue’s raw character.

The Cotton Sheds’ vast open floor and original structure create a distinctive acoustic, and Lexa’s approach would design sound reinforcement specifically for a room built at genuinely large industrial scale.

Presentation technology across the Cotton Sheds’ eight areas would need to work at brand activation scale, and Lexa’s approach would design content and screen placement accordingly.

Screens for Product Launches and Conferences

With the Cotton Sheds’ original ironwork and brickwork throughout, lighting design would work with that industrial character, moving between functional daytime states and full evening production.

For product launches and conferences reaching audiences beyond Manchester, Lexa’s hybrid streaming approach would connect Victoria Warehouse’s events to remote viewers.

Coordinating production across the Cotton Sheds’ eight separate areas calls for careful sequencing, which is exactly what Lexa’s production management approach would provide.
