To solve the venue’s sightline challenge, Lexa specified a full PTZ camera solution with screens placed throughout the space, so every guest could see exactly what was happening on stage regardless of where they were seated around the venue’s L-shaped layout. Award winners were featured on screen the moment they were announced, giving the evening a high end, celebrity awards ceremony feel.

A stage platform was built specifically for the space, paired with a lighting backdrop designed to give the ceremony a proper focal point within the venue’s unconventional layout.

Full audio production and delay speakers carried sound clearly around the corners and tented sections of the venue, keeping every announcement and speech intelligible throughout the room.

As Madame Tussauds’ exclusive AV provider, Lexa controlled all of the venue’s existing in-house AV alongside the production brought in for the evening, integrating both into a single, properly run system.

With Madame Tussauds closing to the public at 4.30pm and the awards dinner starting at 7pm, the entire production had to be built, tested and ready inside a genuinely tight window. It was a big ask delivered through close teamwork across the crew.

From planning through to derig, Lexa managed the full technical production, coordinating around the venue’s own operational hours as closely as the ceremony itself.
