Brief
International Hospitality Media needed full production for The Shortyz, its short term rental sector awards evening, for 160 guests at The Westin London City.
The brief covered audio, video and set through a projector and screen setup, full staging and lighting, alongside DJ and live musician support to carry the evening from awards ceremony into celebration.
As with any awards format, the production needed to keep every category, reveal and presentation running precisely, while giving the evening’s entertainment its own moment once the ceremony itself was complete.

The Shortyz gave 160 guests from across the short term rental sector a properly produced awards evening at The Westin London City.
Full audio, video, staging and lighting gave the ceremony the same technical standard as International Hospitality Media’s wider awards portfolio.
DJ and live musician support meant the evening moved smoothly from formal awards presentation into genuine celebration, without needing a separate production team for either half.
Having already delivered International Hospitality Media’s Serviced Apartment Awards, Lexa’s return for The Shortyz reflected a growing relationship across IHM’s award programme.
