Freelance Camera Operators

We are looking for experienced freelance camera operators for live corporate events, recording, streaming and IMAG. Assignments may include operated cameras, PTZ systems, roaming coverage, winner follows, interviews and event content capture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate broadcast, cinema, ENG or PTZ camera systems according to the production brief.

• Capture well-composed, steady and technically consistent shots in live event environments.

• Follow direction from the vision mixer, director or technical project manager using show communications.

• Prepare and check cameras, lenses, supports, cabling, power and accessories before rehearsals and live operation.

• Work sensitively around delegates, presenters, performers and clients without disrupting the event.

• Support camera matching, repositioning and basic fault finding where required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong professional experience in live events, corporate events or a closely related production environment.

• Excellent timekeeping, communication and teamwork.

• A calm, practical approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Professional conduct when representing LEXA in front of clients, venues and other suppliers.

• The right to work in the UK and flexibility to travel or work evenings and weekends when required.

• A strong showreel or portfolio and experience of corporate live events, IMAG or multi-camera production are advantageous.
