Freelance Lighting Engineers & Technicians

We are looking for experienced freelance lighting engineers, programmers and technicians to support the preparation, installation and delivery of corporate event lighting. Work may include conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, exhibitions, parties and brand activations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, install, address, test and operate professional lighting systems.

• Program and operate lighting consoles in line with the event design and running order.

• Deliver consistent stage, room, scenic and architectural lighting with close attention to finish.

• Follow lighting plans, patch sheets, power calculations and production documentation accurately.

• Work safely with power distribution, data, rigged fixtures and floor-based installations within your competence.

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, riggers and other technical departments on site.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong professional experience in live events, corporate events or a closely related production environment.

• Excellent timekeeping, communication and teamwork.

• A calm, practical approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Professional conduct when representing LEXA in front of clients, venues and other suppliers.

• The right to work in the UK and flexibility to travel or work evenings and weekends when required.

• Console programming experience and relevant electrical, access or rigging qualifications are advantageous.
