We are looking for qualified and experienced freelance event riggers to support the installation and removal of truss, motors, lighting, audio, video and scenic systems. Work ranges from venue-based corporate events to larger, technically complex productions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect and remove event rigging systems in accordance with approved plans and safe working practices.
Rig truss, motors, points and suspended production equipment within your qualifications and competence.
Interpret rigging plots, load information, venue rules and production schedules accurately.
Carry out pre-use checks and report faults, changes or safety concerns immediately.
Coordinate with venue riggers, technical departments and production management on site.
Maintain safe exclusion zones, tidy working methods and careful equipment handling.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong professional experience in live events, corporate events or a closely related production environment.
Excellent timekeeping, communication and teamwork.
A calm, practical approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Professional conduct when representing LEXA in front of clients, venues and other suppliers.
The right to work in the UK and flexibility to travel or work evenings and weekends when required.
Current, role-appropriate rigging qualifications and evidence of competency are essential. IPAF, NRC or equivalent certifications should be detailed in your application.
