LEXA is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage corporate event productions from start to finish. You will translate client objectives into practical technical solutions, coordinate people and suppliers, maintain commercial control and lead delivery on site. This is a full-time UK role for someone based within practical reach of our London, Manchester or Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon operations, with regular travel to venues and event sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from initial brief, discovery call and site visit through design, quotation, planning, delivery and post-event completion.
Develop suitable technical solutions across audio, lighting, video, staging, scenic and rigging in collaboration with specialist teams.
Prepare clear proposals, budgets, schedules, floorplans, technical documentation and production information.
Book and coordinate freelance crew, suppliers, transport, equipment and venue services.
Maintain control of project scope, costs, margins, changes, deadlines and client expectations.
Act as the principal production contact for clients, venues, agencies, suppliers and internal teams.
Lead installations, rehearsals, live delivery and breakdowns on site, maintaining high standards of safety and finish.
Complete project reconciliation, supplier checks, feedback and operational handover after each event.
Identify risks early, solve problems calmly and ensure all departments have the information needed to deliver successfully.
What We’re Looking For:
Substantial experience managing technical production for corporate events or comparable live productions.
A strong working understanding of audio, lighting, video, staging, scenic and rigging workflows.
The ability to interpret a brief, develop a technical solution and build an accurate commercial proposal.
Excellent client communication, leadership, budgeting, scheduling and supplier-management skills.
Confidence leading multi-disciplinary crews and making sound decisions under pressure on site.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to clear documentation, safe working and excellent presentation.
A full UK driving licence, the right to work in the UK and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and away from home when projects require it.
Working with LEXA:
You will join a practical, ambitious team that values clear communication, careful planning and excellent delivery. The role offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of varied projects for corporate clients, agencies and venues across the UK and internationally.
